What is Eth2 Staking Community Grants?
Eth2 Staking Community Grants is an initiative of the Ethereum Foundation to promote the major update called “Ethereum 2.0”, which started in November 2020.
Funding for activities will be provided to companies and projects that fall into three main categories: Community and Education, Staking and Validator tools, and Data analysis and visualisation.
Techtec has also received a Grant from Aave, the DeFi market leader in October 2020.
Our Policy on Ethereum 2.0
We believe that supporting Ethereum 2.0 is absolutely essential for the realization of Web 3.0 in Japan. However, there are not many companies in Japan that can support Ethereum 2.0, and we thought it was very important to receive grants through Eth2 Staking Community Grants.
The Grant provided this time will be mainly used for the development of the “Eth2 Staking Program”. The goal of the program is to create an ecosystem that will make Eth2 staking easier and more accessible in Japan.
The program will define the rewards, risks, and validator requirements of Eth2 staking, and will provide concrete steps to participate in staking.
